For clarification, I said that guys are only friends with females they're attracted to, with the exception of effeminate men. This does not necessarily imply that you wish to have sex with her, although it's more likely than not.

Effeminate != gay... it just means men that're in touch with their feminine side. Unfortunately, with very few exceptions, these types of men don't seem to get the women, at least not the attractive women, as anything more than friends.

As an aside: Online friends don't count. People you talk to at work or school, or if you run into them casually, etc., but don't actually go out with are aquaintances, not friends. People you only associate with through another person, i.e. your friend's gf or your sister's friend, are aquaintances, not friends. Unless you call them up and say "let's hang out" and then go out and do something, they're not friends.

Online women do not count as friends, period, end of story. Not in this sense, anyway. But, I don't think it's going out on a limb to consider you effeminate...
