This is a fascinating article from the magazine The Nation concerning what our founding fathers really had to say about this being a Christian Nation. I certainly have nothing against Christians, I am one myself...albeit not the kind that handles snakes or gives out tracts in front of Giant Eagle. Still, I find it annoying how many crazy soccer-moms are on the news lately screaming about how this country was founded on Jesus, and we need to praise him in school, court, in the State of the Union Address, etc.
